Sustainability

This subject area will examine encouraging environmental sensitivity through zoning and removing zoning obstacles to sustainable design.  Issues will include green building design, low impact development, transit oriented development, energy efficiency and measures of sustainability. The consultant team of Clarion Associates and Farr Associates has been engaged to help provide professional expertise to the Working Group and Office of Planning. They will participate in the Working Groups and provide research, guidance and expertise as necessary.

Working Group
This working group has begun its meetings.

All meetings are held between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm

Currently all meetings are scheduled to be held at 441 4th St. NW, 11th Floor, District of Columbia Conference Center, Room  1107.
