What Will It Cover?

This area will deal with the relationship between the zoning code and the existing review structure for historic buildings.  We will examine the current sections on historic structures and determine what exceptions or special requirements need to be in place for these buildings.

Moving Forward

The Historic recommendations document is located below. The Historic subject area will not have a separate Zoning Commission Public Hearing, but was heard in conjunction with the Low-Moderate Density Residential subject area. Historic recommendations were included in the draft Low-Moderate Density Residential working group recommendations. The Zoning Commission will provide informal guidance on the Historic structures recommendations to the Office of Planning on June 8, 2009. This informal guidance will be located below in the documents section.
